Description

The Daiwa 18 Blast LT4000-CXH is a high-rigidity saltwater spinning reel introduced in 2018 as part of DAIWA's BLAST LT series. Developed around the brand's LT — Light & Tough — concept, this compact spinning reel combines a strong aluminum body with a lightweight design for demanding saltwater fishing. It is designed for a broad range of applications, including light jigging, offshore casting, shore jigging and super-light jigging.

The LT4000-CXH is the high-speed 4000-size configuration, featuring a 6.2:1 gear ratio and retrieving approximately 99cm of line per handle turn. Its 12kg maximum drag provides substantial fighting capability, while DAIWA technologies including Magsealed, ATD, Air Rotor, Air Bail and Twist Buster II are designed to improve water resistance, drag response, rotational performance and line management. A machined aluminum handle, aluminum spool and Power Light M handle knob complete the reel's shore- and offshore-focused setup.
