Description

The ANEX No.9115 Hose Pick is a Japanese automotive maintenance tool designed to help loosen and remove rubber hoses that have become stuck to fittings. Its curved pick tip can be inserted carefully between a hose and connector to break adhesion, making it especially useful for radiator hoses, cooling-system hoses, and other automotive or motorcycle maintenance tasks.

Made with a durable chrome-molybdenum-vanadium steel shaft and a comfortable PP and TPE handle, the tool offers strength and secure handling during repair work. Its slim curved profile helps reach tight hose connections where removal by hand can be difficult.

How to Use

Insert the curved tip carefully between the hose and its fitting, then gently work the tool around the connection to loosen the stuck area. Avoid pushing the tip too deeply into the hose, as excessive pressure may puncture or damage the rubber. Work gradually around the fitting before attempting to pull the hose free. Always make sure the engine and cooling system are completely cool before servicing radiator or coolant hoses.

Care Instructions

Wipe the metal portion clean after each use and remove oil, coolant, or other residue before storage. Keep the tool dry and store it away from excessive humidity or corrosive chemicals. Do not use the pick as a pry bar or striking tool, as excessive sideways force may damage the tip. Inspect the blade and handle regularly for bending, cracks, or other wear. Store the tool safely with the pointed end protected.
