Take the ice pack out of its case and freeze it for at least 10 hours before use. Insert the frozen ice pack into the lid case. If placing hot food inside, let it cool thoroughly before closing the bento box. Before microwaving, remove both the lid and ice pack case.

Wash the bento box and all components by hand. Do not place them in an automatic dishwasher or dish dryer. Take the ice pack case off the lid before freezing the ice pack, and dry all parts thoroughly before storing.
