Description

The SUN Therm-O-Compass is a compact outdoor instrument combining a thermometer and compass in one portable keychain. Sold by Montbell Japan under model #1827632, it can be attached to a backpack, jacket zipper, keychain, or outdoor gear for quick access to temperature and directional information while hiking, camping, trekking, or traveling.

Its liquid-filled compass features luminous markings for improved visibility in lower-light conditions, while the thermometer can display temperatures down to approximately -30°C (-20°F). A wind-chill reference chart is printed on the back, adding another useful reference for changing outdoor conditions. Care Instructions

Keep the Therm-O-Compass away from strong magnets, electronic devices, and large metal objects when taking compass readings. Avoid dropping, crushing, puncturing, or exposing the unit to open flames or excessive heat, as the thermometer contains temperature-sensing fluid. Wipe the exterior gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid harsh solvents or abrasive cleaning products. Store it in a dry location when not in use and inspect the split ring periodically for damage or deformation.
